Indian Institute of Packaging, Chennai organized Seminar on "Sustainable Biodegradable Plastic Packaging to Mitigate Single-Use Plastic Packaging (SUP) Challenges" which was held on 19^th April 2023 at Vivanta Chennai, IT Expressway Chennai.

The seminar was organized to discuss the challenges posed by single-use plastic packaging and the potential of biodegradable plastic packaging to provide a sustainable alternative and the critical role of Government organizations / institutions.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General - CIPET.
