CIPET's vision to collaborate with various Universities and to expand its horizon with the ultimate objective to excel in the global arena, senior CIPET officials are nominated to visit various repute universities across the globe. In line with this, a team consisting of Shri S. Sugumar, Chief Manager (Technical), CIPET Head Office and Dr. Smita Mohanty, Scientist, Laboratory for Advanced Research in Polymeric Materials (LARPM, CIPET - Bhubaneswar visited Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil and University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina from 20th March to 27th March, 2012. The team held discussions/interactions with the concerned officials and faculty members at both the Universities and explored the possibilities of having tie-ups/research collaborations, faculty student exchange programs through MoU in the areas of expertise and relevance to CIPET. The team also witnessed the signing of MoU with UNEST, Brazil.
