ABOUT CIPET : IPT - BIHTA

Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Centre at Bihta is being established jointly by Govt. of India and Govt. of Bihar with a total Project Cost of Rs. 84 Crores. Moreover 10 Acres of Land has been allotted by Industries Department, Govt. of Bihar at Sikandarpur Industrial Area, Bihta, Patna for establishment of the Centre. Objective of the Centre is to offer Long Term Under Graduate and Post Graduate Academic Programs in the field of Petrochemicals / Polymer Engineering & Technology to meet the high-end manpower requirements of Petrochemicals, Polymer and allied industries in the region. To provide Technology Support Services in the area of Tool Room, Processing, CAD/CAM, Testing & Inspection services for the benefit of the new and existing Petrochemicals, Plastics and allied industries.
