SKILL TRAINING

CIPET : CSTS - PWMC - Guwahati conducts Short duration training programs through Skill Development programs, Entrepreneurship Development programs, Entrepreneurs Awareness programs, Orientation programs in the field of Plastics Processing & Recycling Technology Besides this, the Centre is conducting various short-term training programs sponsored by Govt. & Non-Govt. organizations like Ministry of DONER, North Eastern Council (NEC), Industries Department, Govt. of Assam etc. In-plant / intensive training programs for students of Technical Institutions are also offered.

A six month Machine Operator - Plastics Processing & Recycling Technology (MO-PPRT) course is being imparted at this centre.

Short term courses conducted at CIPET : CSTS - PWMC - Guwahati are very well accepted by plastics and allied industries in India and abroad. Successful trainees are offered placement assistance in plastics raw material conversion / processing industries not only in India but also in South East Asia and Middle East Countries.

Recently, CIPET : CSTS - PWMC - Guwahati won the Dakshata Gold Award for best Training Partner & Best Training Centre in the Field of Skill Development in Assam. The award was presented by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam Shri Sarbananda Sonowal in the Skill Conclave 2018 organised by Assam Skill Development Mission.
