PLACEMENT

As a part of the efforts to develop and strengthen relationship with the corporate globe, CIPET Ranchi has outlined a long-term strategy to place students in prestigious organisations. A well organised placement division functions with a full-time dedicated staff, who continuously monitor the employment potential and arrange campus placement for the students about the potential job opportunities and guidance. As a part of industry-institute interaction, students are exposed to the real work environment of various Industries. Hands-on training is imparted to students in the conventional as well as in advanced techniques.

OBJECTIVE
  • To maintain close liaison with industries / institutions / organizations to facilitate placements of the students.
  • To arrange for all recruitment drives and other related activities.
  • To plan and organize career talks & personality development programs.
  • To upgrade the student's skill sets commensurate with the expectations of the industry.
  • To generate awareness amongst the students with respect to future career options available for them.
  • To motivate and counsel students about Industry practices and improving their soft skills.
  • To give Industry feedback to the departments concerned for Improving student's skill set.
  • To Assist faculty in inviting speakers for Guest Lectures and Technical Workshops.

   Grooming the Diploma trainees during their final year in such a way making them industry-ready.

DIPLOMA TRAINING/INTERNSHIP

We endeavour to provide a vital link between the students and prospective employers. Students are placed for practical training in various establishments according to their area of interest and specialization. Faculty members of respective departments conduct monitoring of training of students in different industries. Analysis of training is carried out on the basis of evaluation report received from the industries, matter content and presentation of the training report submitted by the students and viva-voce conducted by the expert committee, constituted (discipline wise) for the purpose.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Extra and co-curricular activities are organized around the year which provides the students platform to bring out their potentials apart from the routine curricular activities.

SOFT SKILLS

Personality development, Guest Lectures/Seminars, Mock Group Discussions & Interviews.

PROCEDURE FOR CAMPUS INTERVIEW

Organizations are welcome to make a pre-placement talk or let us have the opportunity to visit your office for discussion. This provides an opportunity for organizations to showcase their corporate requirements and job profiles. Besides recruitment-related activities, companies are welcome to visit our facilities and meet faculty members for exploring new areas of collaborative research and consultancy projects. Companies are invited to conduct Campus recruitments on mutual convenience.

GUEST/EXPERT LECTURE

With a view to bridge the gap between industrial requirements and academic curriculum, experts from the various fields are invited to enable the students to know and understand the requirements of industries and accordingly prepare themselves for the future.
